International Rural Exchange Program

Welcome to the International Rural Exchange Program!!

International Rural Exchange (IRE) is an independently operated agricultural exchange program that offers young people an opportunity to experience both the agricultural and cultural aspects of a foreign country. IRE offers an outbound program for Canadians wishing to go overseas as well as an inbound program for those wishing to experience farming in Canada.

Our main office is located in the province of Saskatchewan. We also have an extensive volunteer team throughout Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Alberta. IRE works with exchange partners in regions such as Australia, Europe, New Zealand, South Africa, Scandinavia, and the U.S.A.
